…is here. I got it today, hm, yesterday. Made some pictures of it, I will upload them to Flickr.

How is it behaving? Very nice. Plugged into my iMac and worked immediately. The best mouse I ever had. It is very easy to handle. The two buttons on the left side are clicking very softly. The wheel-click has also a silent and soft sound.

The only bad is there is no Setpoint software for Mac OS X. But I installed Logitech Control Center. I must restart my iMac first and then will see how is it working.

Could be the temperature of the Power Supply a problem? I think the temperature is little bit too high.

Don’t connect Canon IXUS 30 directly to the iMac, the connection is very slow. Get a card reader. I have a Sweex 53-in-1 card reader and the transfer of the pictures is much faster.

Since the first iMac post I had two upgrades: from Mac OS X 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 and from 10.5.3 to 10.5.4.

I finally got my new iMac. Yes, I switched. It is the 24″ iMac with Nvidia Geforce 8800GS. I already made some benchmarks with Xbench in Geekbench. I will publish them later.

I must say I like the alu keyboard. The machine is very silent. I didn’t notice any problems with the panel (I ordered my iMac with pixel check).

I didn’t upgrade Mac OS X to 10.5.3. I will make more benchmarks with 10.5.2 first. I know that the drivers for 8800GS aren’t perfect, but I hope that Apple will change that.

The screen IS huge. I like it a lot. Ok, there is some issue with the brightness, but that isn’t a big deal.

My must-have applications: iStat menus, X-Chat Aqua, Adium, Growl, NetNewsWire.
